This page describes the SMS messaging program operated by CanOS and what you are agreeing to when you check the SMS-consent box on one of our public sign-up forms.
CanOS sends appointment reminders and general messaging to opted-in users. Messages are sent on behalf of the kennel, training, or franchise business you are signing up with through CanOS, and may include:
This program is not used to send promotional or marketing messages to users who have not separately opted in to marketing.
You opt in by entering your mobile phone number on a CanOS public sign-up form (such as a contact form, evaluation sign-up, group-class sign-up, or franchise application form) and checking the SMS-consent box. The exact disclosure shown next to the checkbox is:

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase. If you do not want to receive SMS messages, do not enter a phone number, or leave the consent box unchecked and contact the business by email instead.
Message frequency varies and depends on the appointments you book and the messages the business chooses to send you.
Message and data rates may apply. CanOS does not charge a fee to receive SMS messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from the program. You will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive any further program messages unless you opt in again.

Supported on major US carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your phone number and SMS-consent record are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are only shared with our SMS provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you opted in to receive.
